COCC offers the following information systems management pathways

 

Associate of Applied Science Business Administration Information Systems Management Specialization Degree (96-97 credits) is designed for those who desire to apply software and computer technology to business applications. Perfect for those planning on small web business ownership.

For those wishing to enter the computer industry at the management level the Associate of Arts Oregon Transfer Business Emphasis Degree  or Associate of Science Oregon Transfer Business Degree (both 93 credits) will transfer toward a 4 year Bachelor’s Degree in business, computer science, management or information systems management.

The Computer & Information Systems Certificate (45-46 credits) is 12 additional credits beyond the Associate of Applied Science Business Administration Information Systems Management Specialization Degree. It offers more instruction in web development and licensure preparation for CompTIA’s A+ PC Technician Exam (220-602) objectives. The education provided in the coursework of this certificate is for those intendingas technical support specialist, supporting personal,computer hardware and software.

The 45 credit Retail Management Certificate has an additional 8 credits in retailing and human resource management beyond the AAS Business Information Systems Management specialization Degree. Successful graduates would combine the Retail Management and Computer Information for positions in the retail end of the computer industry. Salaries ranging from $22,000 - $80,000 depending upon size of business and impacted by compensation commissions.
